Model 3 is at a special price right now in order to make room on the racks for newer model canoes. It is shorter than the others. It is only 9' 3.5" in length. It weighs only 29 lbs. This is the perfect canoe to hand in your man cave on display. It can be paddled in the water, but it isn't quite as smooth as the others. With it being shorter in length, it paddles more like a kayak and takes a bit more effort. That doesn't take away from it's beauty and design though! It's a great small canoe and it's a great price right now!
Model #4 is crafted with white pine strips and has distinct dark walnut captured ends. This canoe has two seats, so you can enjoy your lazy river day with someone special (or have a seat for your beer cooler). Like the others, it is lightweight and easy to maneuver in water. It weighs only 41 lbs and is 12'6" in length. Hang this beauty with a simple wall rack for display and expect to get plenty of compliments. Quality made and durable, spend time relaxing in the sunshine, or simply enjoy it as artwork in your man cave or vacation home.
Model 5 is a favorite and the first canoe I sold. It has 2 seats and as you can see, is great to take your companion to enjoy a lazy day on the river with you! It weighs only 45 lbs, and it is 13' 6/5" in length.
This specific wood strip canoe is crafted with the increasingly rare and exotic African Mahogany (Sapele) wood, complimented with Clear Pine and Black Walnut. African Mahogany is expensive wood from trees dating over 100 years old. It is only exported from just a few countries, legally. It is 11’4” in length and only weighs 42 lbs. It has an offset low setting seat and foot rests that allow maximum maneuver ability when using a kayak paddle. A double layer of fiberglass cloth on the bottom adds abrasion and impact resistance. It is both beautiful and tough!
Model #9 is built on the same form as the very first canoe I built for myself. It is made of cherry and white pine woods. The length and the more pointed ends allow this canoe track well. So, it's good for those long, straight stretches of water. It is 13'4" in length and weights about 43 lbs. All of the canoes I build are durable and can withstand some beating, but since cherry is a harder wood, this canoe is sure to be tough. The contrasting colors allow this beauty to stand out. It is built with a thwart, which helps lock the canoe and is sculpted to double function as a backrest. The dropdown seat offers a lower center of gravity, which creates additional stability as you paddle through the water.
